Project Description:This resource will be part of the Murex team at the client and will own custom applications that are part of the Murex ecosystem (upstream and downstream) that manage inputs and outputs to Murex. These applications leverage Java/Python/AWS skill sets, and the resource is expected to be able to work on CICD pipelines and other initiatives that use open stack skill sets.Responsibilities:Manage timelines/deliverables within the team towards the successful delivery of projects.Design software solutions by interacting with portfolio managers, traders, operations staff, and peers to understand requirements.Develop solutions that are in line with the client's technology biases, deliver efficiency and scalability, and enable new trading activities.Provide knowledge transfer to team members and support staff through application demos, walkthroughs, and documentation.Mandatory Skills Description:University degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferredProven track records in team leadership, managing development processesMust have good communication skills, strong client-facing skills and the ability to manage clients' expectationsExperience in Python in an enterprise environment, covering the whole development life cycleStrong technical skills in JAVA core, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Multi-threading, concurrency, and Performance tuning 6+ yearsStrong knowledge of SQL (MS SQL Server) to be able to make queries, update the structure and normalize data 4+ yearsGood understanding and practical experience in DevOps AWS and CI/CD2+ yearsGit, Maven, Jenkins, urbancode, junit, liquibase, SonarQube 4+ yearsJira, Confluenceconfident userAgile, Scrum framework, 2+ years' experience on past projectsNice-to-Have Skills Description:Capital marketsTrading systemsMurexKnowledge in implementing, developing and supporting various MX.3 proprietary modules for Enterprise Integration such as MxMLExchange, Datamart, MX.3 Accessibility and Extensibility APIs (.Net, Java, C++, and SOAP/REST Web services)Languages:English: A1 Beginner
