New Metric is also recognized as a leader in 360o brand marketing for its success with Letterkenny and Bad Bloods off-screen extensions, including beer, collectible merchandise as well as Letterkenny LIVE!, a North American theatre tour with the stars of the series.THE ROLENew Metric Media is seeking a Senior Manager, Distribution and Content Partnerships who will help accelerate the companys international growth. This is a 12-month Maternity Leave contract role and a core member of the Distribution team, blending sales, strategy, and operational execution across global markets. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with global content partners, thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment, and is comfortable owning everything from market intel and deal negotiation to rights management and delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by expanding New Metrics global footprint, maintaining relationships with key partners, and managing workflows that power distribution operations.This role is both strategic and highly executional, requiring someone who can move seamlessly between partner-facing conversations and internal operational alignment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDistribution Strategy & SalesLead international sales efforts across streaming platforms, broadcasters, AVOD/FAST, and emerging distribution partners.Develop and execute territory-specific sales strategies, maintaining key partnerships while targeting emerging and untapped markets.Identify and pursue new global partnership opportunities.Negotiate commercial terms and close licensing deals.Partnership ManagementManage and grow relationships with key global partners.Act as the day-to-day point of contact for partner inquiries, deal discussions, delivery timelines, and performance updates.Coordinate across internal teams (production, post, legal, marketing, finance, YouTube) to ensure alignment with partner expectations and maintain company workflows and deliverables.Operational & Rights ManagementOversee distribution operations including availability lists, rights tracking, premiere dates, deal status, and partner deliverables.Manage distribution deliverables workflows and support YouTube/ Post-Production as needed to ensure smooth and timely delivery.Analytics & Market IntelligenceMonitor content performance across partners and platforms to identify trends, strengths, and new partnership opportunities.Build data-driven insights to guide negotiations and optimize deal value.Financial & Legal SupportWork with Legal to negotiate and finalize licensing agreements, ensuring compliance and industry standards are met while pursuing the strongest potential outcome for all parties.Manage forecasts, revenue tracking, and financial reporting for all Distribution activity with accuracy and attention to detail.YouTube & Commissioning Partner ManagementSupport day-to-day management of New Metrics YouTube channel and commissioning partners, ensuring smooth delivery, content scheduling, and metadata accuracy. Coordinate with internal teams to optimize channel performance, respond to partner needs, and maintain strong relationships that support ongoing growth.QUALIFICATIONS5+ years of experience in content distribution, licensing, and business development, with experience selling comedy content preferred.Demonstrated success negotiating and closing international licensing deals.Strong knowledge of the global entertainment market, including streaming platforms, broadcasters, AVOD/FAST, and emerging platform strategies. Experience working towards aggressive revenue targets and building territory-specific forecasts.High proficiency in rights management, availability tracking, and delivery processes.Highly organized with the ability to manage complex workflows across multiple stakeholders.Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key partners.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze distribution performance and identify areas for growth and improvement.Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with the ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed.Passion for TV and Film entertainment and the digital media industry.Knowledge of industry-standard workflows and best practices for content distribution.Ability to travel as needed. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.LOCATION & WORK ENVIRONMENTThis role is based in Toronto and requires four days a week in the office.
