Caregiver/PSW for disabled elderly Female only. Location: Binbrook, Ontario (Hamilton) Part time with reduced hours needed in December (8 to 10hrs per week) but regular hours starting on January 26th and 25hrs per week. Regular shift has the following requirements: You will need to be available between 12pm and 5.30pm from Monday to Thursday And 5hrs either saturday or sunday Pay: $20/hr and you will be responsible for your own deductions. Looking for a female PSW/Caregiver for my elderly parent with atypical Parkinsons disease. Need someone who is RELIABLE to show up Monday to Thursday. You will also need to be physically fit in order to help another PSW lift the patient off the bed and transfer her to a wheelchair, or to and from the toilet. If you have mobility issues then this job is not suitable for you. My mom is cognitive but her mobility is deteriorating. Tasks include: feeding, mouth care, range of motion exercises, safe transfer to wheelchair and to bathroom, PEG tube flushing, giving medications, cleaning dishes, showering, housekeeping, making pureed food in the blender and helping to take her to appointments.
