Heavy Civil Project Manager Industry: Heavy Civil Construction Are you an experienced leader in heavy civil construction looking to take ownership of major infrastructure projects? Were seeking a Heavy Civil Project Manager to oversee all aspects of project deliveryfrom planning and execution to closeoutwhile ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Review contracts, plans, and specifications to define scope, requirements, and milestones. Lead the project team to achieve milestones safely, on time, and within budget. Manage all aspects of project performance: startup, safety, cost, schedule, quality, environmental compliance, client interface, scope changes, billing, and closeout. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. Support project pursuits and lead proposal efforts when required. Mentor and coach junior team members to foster growth and development. Handle claims and change orders effectively. Qualifications Education: P.Eng, technical diploma, or extensive industry experience. Experience: Minimum 5 years managing heavy civil projects in Canada, from start to finish. Proven track record on large-scale heavy civil infrastructure projects. Strong client management and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project; experience with Bid2Win and Hard Dollar is an asset. Leadership experience with mentoring and team development. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Valid drivers license.
