This role ensures that solutions are implemented according to business and IT principles, leveraging best practices for configuration and integration. The developer collaborates closely with solution analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, maintainable solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements. Key Competencies & Capabilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration and GOSU development. Ability to work collaboratively in Agile teams. Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interaction. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and maintainability. Qualifications Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in software development or equivalent experience. Experience: 4 years in application development roles. 3 years of hands-on Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration experience (Product Model, UI, forms, validations, rating). Technical Skills: GOSU, Java, SOAP/REST APIs, Guidewire plugins. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (TeamCity, Jenkins) and version control (Git, Bitbucket). Domain Knowledge: Insurance industry experience is an asset. Certifications: Guidewire PolicyCenter certification preferred.
