*Overview*We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team as an Independent Contractor position on weekends. In this role, you will provide high-quality therapeutic and relaxation massages to clients, who are completing their residential addiction treatment program to help them helping them alleviate stress, reduce pain, and improve overall well-being. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology and demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.*Duties** Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to meet individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.* Assess clients' physical condition and discuss their needs to develop personalized treatment plans.**Requirements** Valid licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist.* Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to massage therapy practices.* Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for clients.* Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients* Ability to maintain professionalism* Physical stamina to perform massages for extended periods while adhering to safety protocols.
