**Work Schedule** Standard (Mon-Fri) **Environmental Conditions** Office **Job Description** START DATE: MAY 2026 END DATE: MAY 2027 Job Description Summary: Support the finance team in Canada by performing a combination of Financial Accounting and Management Reporting activities within the organization. Support the site on a rotational basis in Operations Finance, Commercial Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis and Controllership to assist the teams on specific projects and tasks to deliver outstanding customer feedback. Essential Functions: u2022 Participate in month end close activities and act as a delegate for key tasks when needed. u2022 Gather documentation for the annual audit and tax review requirements. u2022 Review and reduce aged payables to improve Paid on Time metrics. u2022 Create and update standard operating procedures to ensure consistency across sites. u2022 Attend and review select inventory cycle counts. u2022 Participate in fixed asset counts and assist with the maintenance and clean-up of the fixed asset ledger. u2022 Monitor and review monthly HST transactions for accuracy and completeness and investigate / correct discrepancies as needed. u2022 Monitor and review the completeness of labour hours reported for SRED eligible projects. u2022 Assist the team with the management of inventory and annual standard cost rollover calculations. u2022 Actively participate in tier meetings for either the manufacturing or packaging areas u2022 Deliver financial and operational performance analysis, including product portfolio, to drive profitability using the Practical Process Improvement (PPI) Business System u2022 Partner with business unit (BU) area managers to promote financial transparency and accountability. u2022 Drive BU performance through established metrics (Absorption, Materials Usage Variance, Purchase Price Variance, Direct Labour efficiency) u2022 Update weekly BI reports for overtime, labour efficiency and headcount. u2022 Update weekly & daily revenue & performance trackers. u2022 Work with BU area managers to understand routings and update when vital. u2022 Complete actual vs. standard cost reporting by product to drive operational efficiencies. u2022 Assist with updating monthly cost trackers and labour reports and preparing budget vs. actual variance analysis. u2022 Maintain a safe working environment and report potential hazards. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: High school diploma/General Educational Development (GED) Certificate is required Working towards Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or Finance Experience: Rising Senior Equivalency: Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to prioritize multiple projects, work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of Systems: SAP and Hyperion an asset. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong customer focus and drive for results with strong problem-solving abilities.u202fCapable of setting clear priorities, organizing work, and making quality decisions.u202fDemonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Office programs. Proficiency with the English Language.
