Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, the 310T Mechanic will help the shop by maintaining and repairing equipment in the companys maintenance and repair shop.Primary Scope of Role:Makes field service calls to repair.Troubleshoots, adjusts, overhauls, and maintains Western Star, Mack, International and Kenworth trucks and trailersTravels project sites as required to perform equipment service and repair.Works on equipment, trucks and small engines as required.Conducts Safety certification inspections.Position Requirements:Experience with CAT equipment, Kenworth trucks will be an asset.310T Truck and Coach Technician CertificationHeavy equipment experiences preferred but not required.Mobile field service experienceA valid drivers license and clean drivers abstractUnderstanding of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic systems and componentsAbility to troubleshoot and solve problems.Comfortable using a computer and other electronic resources.Mechanical and mathematic aptitude10-hour shiftsWork may involve weekends and overtime as required.About UsOur PeopleAt Green Infrastructure Partners (GIP), our people are second to none.
