Job Title: Business Analyst location: Waterloo, ON-hybrid Duration: 9 months What the Role Offers An opportunity to work with a leading solutions provider in the commercial finance and leasing market, supporting clients across equipment finance, asset- backed lending, and floor plan financing. Close collaboration with a dedicated team of Business Analysts and Developers focused on improving delivery timelines and evolving solution capabilities across a growing client base. What You Need to Succeed Bachelors degree and significant experience in commercial finance, equipment leasing, floor planning, dealer financing, or related financial services domains. Strong functional knowledge of end-to-end lending and leasing processes, including origination, credit assessment, funding, contract lifecycle management, servicing, collections, and end-of-term workflows. Experience with applications and platforms that support commercial lending, leasing, or dealer financing (e.g., loan origination systems, lease management systems, credit decision engines, dealer portals). Ability to simplify and streamline complex financial or operational processes. Familiarity with compliance, risk management, asset tracking, reconciliation, and reporting requirements within commercial finance is an asset. Experience working within Agile delivery environments, particularly Scrum, is beneficial.
