About the role We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to drive critical enterprise-wide technology transformation initiatives. The core focus of this role will be the end-to-end support of a major ERP system migration project, including extensive data migration, business process re-engineering, and Business Intelligence (BI) platform enhancement. This is a high-impact role requiring flawless communication skills, deep technical acumen (especially in SQL and data), and the ability to bridge complex requirements between multiple business units and the IT team. Mandatory ERP Project Experience: Proven, full-lifecycle experience supporting ERP implementations, including deep involvement in data migration efforts . Advanced SQL Acumen: 5 years of hands-on experience using SQL for querying, data manipulation, and report development. Travel & Mobility: Ability to travel 1020% to the USA and Canada. A valid passport is required. Work Structure: Commitment to working 5 days a week in-office ( Burlington, ON) Key Responsibilities Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Program Leadership ERP Migration & Implementation: Provide full project lifecycle BSA support for a major ERP migration, from initial requirements gathering and gap analysis to post-implementation support. Data Migration & Integrity: Play a critical role in the data migration strategy, ensuring data quality, mapping, and integrity between the legacy and new ERP systems. Must-Have: Utilize advanced SQL scripting for data analysis, query design, and report building ( 5 years of hands-on experience ). Business Process Re-engineering: Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Customer Service to capture, map, and optimize end-to-end ERP workflows using process modeling tools. User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Coordinate and support UAT activities, including developing test cases, managing defects, and creating comprehensive documentation and training materials. Business Intelligence & Performance Management BI Platform Enhancement: Collaborate with stakeholders to evolve the BI platform, including master data management, data modeling, and integrating new, value-added data sources. Reporting & Analytics: Design and build operational, analytical, and performance-tracking reports/dashboards using the ERP and BI platform reporting tools. Financial Systems Support: Support enhancements to financial systems used for strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidated financial reporting. What You Bring Required Experience & Skills (Must-Haves) 5 years of progressive experience as a Business Systems Analyst. Mandatory ERP Project Experience: Proven, full-lifecycle experience supporting ERP implementations, including deep involvement in data migration efforts . Manufacturing Industry Experience: Direct professional familiarity with key functions within a manufacturing environment (e.g., Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales). Exceptional Data Acumen: Advanced working knowledge of SQL (5 years) for querying, data manipulation, reporting, and integrity checks. Flawless Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential to facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and present solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences. Travel and Passport: Ability to travel 1020% of the time to U.S. and Canadian sites for workshops and project collaboration. A valid passport is required. Nice-to-Have Skills (Assets) Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes, such as close and consolidation. Certifications such as CPA, CFA, or professional certifications in Data & Analytics, Business Process Modeling, or ERP software. Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) processes.
