We are currently seeking Senior TM1 Planning Analytics / TM1 Senior Consultants to work for a well known Canadian business in downtown Toronto.The ideal candidate will have 5 - 7 years of senior development experience with TM1 with proficiency in financial planning and analytics, accounting, and information systems. Ideal Candidate ProfileExperience with operating financial, planning & analytical systemsPlanning Analytics, PAx and PAW experience is essentialLINUX EXPERIENCE PREFEREDPYTHON EXPERIENCE PREFEREDBEDROCKExperience in change management and financial process improvement.Possess good communication skills and have the ability to collaborate with both business and technical team members.Able to perform business process analysis, requirements analysis and review technical designs.Expert with software suites (i.e. Cognos BI, TM1, Planning and Analytics).Accountabilities/ResponsibilitiesImplements recommendations from Sr. Mgmt. on the creation of new Planning Analytics applications or enhancements to existing ones.Constructs and tests Planning Analytics application logic, and develops, creates, modifies application code for complex applications.Manages the implementation of complex enhancements to existing Planning Analytics applicationsManages the implementation of complex implementation of major new Planning Analytics applications (enterprise-wide impact).Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams to discuss & understand business requirements and create functional requirements specificationsBuild and present Proof of Concept to stakeholders and seek approval towards solution buildImplement Planning Analytics/ TM1 solutions using TM1 Rules, TI Processes, PAx, PAWImplement TM1 security across implementationsConduct Planning Analytics training sessions for the end-usersBasic QualificationsBachelors Degree and at least 5+ years of experience in TM1 application development and maintenance.Solid 5+ years IBM Cognos TM1 Suite (version10.x) implementation experience from requirements to deploymentHands-on with Turbo Integrator, TM1 Rules with the ability for performance tuning existing and new applicationsExperience with technical design process and models.Experience with SDLC / SW development processes (RUP, Agile, Waterfall)Experience utilizing verbal and written communication skillsExperience using analytical skills, tools and techniques to investigate information and to draw conclusions.Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.Preferred QualificationsBachelors Degree (BA) or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Business Administration, or similarWorking knowledge with IBM Planning Analytics, Cognos BI and ETL 3.
