Role Description: The Banquet Server will be responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service during events, ensuring guest satisfaction, and supporting the event team with the setup, execution, and cleanup of functions. The role involves working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver seamless service for weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings. Role Description: The Banquet Captain is a leadership role responsible for overseeing banquet operations during events to ensure exceptional service and seamless execution. Working closely with the front-of-house team, kitchen, and management, the Banquet Captain will supervise servers, coordinate event setups according to floor plans, manage timing throughout service, and act as the main point of contact for clients on event days. This role requires strong organization, clear communication, and the ability to maintain a polished, professional atmosphere during weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the banquet staff through event setup, service, and teardown - Ensure all tables, dcor, and service areas meet Sala San Marco standards - Communicate event details, timelines, and expectations to staff - Maintain strong guest relations and respond to requests promptly and professionally - Liaise with the kitchen to ensure timely food service - Oversee service quality, troubleshoot issues, and support team members as needed - Ensure all health, safety, and service protocols are followed - Assist with training new banquet staff Qualifications: - 2 Years previous experience in banquet service, hospitality, or event operations - Strong leadership and team management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Professionalism and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction - Knowledge of proper food handling, service etiquette, and event flow - Ability to stand for extended periods, carry trays, and handle physical tasks - Strong attention to detail in presentation, timing, and cleanliness - Experience in fast-paced, high-volume event environments - Smart Serve certification is required To apply: Email your resume and brief cover letter to We look forward to meeting you!
