The position is primarily focused on PLC and SCADA programming, commissioning, and networking configurations, however, a diverse background in automation and control system planning, design, control narrative generation, troubleshooting, and maintenance is also required. Mandatory Qualifications are as follows: - Programming experience with a variety of automation software and hardware. - Willingness to travel to support maintenance and commissioning tasks. - Availability for PLC, SCADA Systems, and related communications emergency support. - Diploma or Degree in electrical or automation related program from an accredited post-secondary institution. Preference will be placed for candidates that also have the following qualifications: - Licensed or eligible for licensing or certification with EGM/CTTAM. - Excellent verbal and written communications skills. - Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. - Background in electrical & instrumentation systems. - Experience with municipal & industrial process systems. - Experience with industrial networking & cybersecurity. - Experience working as a member of a multi-disciplinary engineering team. Minimum two years combined experience in related positions to the above preference and mandatory qualifications.
