Registered Veterinary Technologist, RVT Anesthesia The Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency (C.A.R.Centre is currently welcoming a Full-time Anesthesia Registered Veterinary Technologist to join our Anesthesia service. This position involves providing anesthesia for many departments. Anesthesia with a ventilator and epidurals are common practice and are performed almost daily. Experience with anesthesia is required. VTS-certified technicians interested in pursuing their VTS certification in anesthesia are welcome to apply. Other responsibilities include (but are not limited to): client communication, taking radiographs pre- and post-operative, collecting and submitting blood and other lab samples, assisting in CT scans, and maintaining timely and accurate patient records. Schedule: The schedule for this position is Monday to Thursday from 7:30 am - 6 pm with additional after-hours anesthesia requirements.
