Title: Geotechnical Laboratory SupervisorLocation: Markham, OntarioOnsite- 5days/weekFulltime PositionHealth Benefit coverage: Medical and DentalOnsite parkingIn your role as the geotechnical laboratory Supervisor, you will perform laboratory testing,Oversee laboratory technicians, complete and maintain QA/QC procedures, equipmentCalibrations, proficiency sampling, and annual inspections.Maintain SPCL procedure for documentation, certifications, testing procedures, and supplies in an orderly manner that meets test procedure requirements.Supervising team of technicians and subcontractors in daily laboratory operations to provide geotechnical and MaterialTesting services;Conduct all aspects of geotechnical and material testing including but not limited to soil, rock, aggregate, asphalt, concrete and other construction material in accordance with relevant standards including ASTM, ASHTO, CCIL, etc.Monitoring others to ensure appropriate protocol is adhered to in execution of testing standard methods;Maintaining open lines of communication in the facilitation of information exchange between external clients and Operational Manager;Assisting with scheduling work, monitoring utilization and time sheets for direct reports to meet prescribed turnaround times;
