Job Title: Sales Manager/Estimation ManagerDuration: Direct Hire, Fulltime PermanentLocations: Toronto, ON (onsite)About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated Sales Manager to lead our business development and estimating activities across Canada, with a primary focus on Eastern and Central regions. Reporting to the Managing Director and collaborating closely with our Sales Manager based in Vancouver, you will play a key role in shaping company's growth strategy and strengthening our leadership in infrastructure monitoring and digital solutions nationwide. Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development Develop and execute the companys business development plan. Identify new opportunities and cultivate relationships with clients, engineers, and contractors. Collaborate with the Vancouver team to ensure cohesive national coverage and sharing of market intelligence. Maintain a CRM database and monitor emerging market trends. Estimating & Proposals Lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals from opportunity to award. Analyze RFPs, conduct site visits, and coordinate with operations and technical teams. Ensure competitive pricing, quality submissions, and compliance with company standards. Support project handover and client follow-up after contract award. Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Structural, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline (GIS, Data Science, Monitoring, etc.). Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering and construction within transportation infrastructure, tunnelling, heavy civil, mining or oil & gas, hydro sectors. Proven experience in business development, client relationship management, and proposal/estimating for technical or engineering services. Strong understanding of project delivery methods, contract negotiation, and risk assessment. Ability to interpret complex technical solutions and communicate them clearly to non[1]specialists. Proficiency in business software (Excel, PowerPoint, CRM platforms such as Salesforce, and ideally basic CAD or data visualization tools). Excellent organization, communication, and presentation skills. A self-motivated, results-driven professional with strong teamwork, integrity, and resilience.
