Job Description

Reporting to the Superintendent, the Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the efficiency of warehouse operations. Key duties include, but are not limited to: - Manage warehouse inventory and ensure accurate stock levels. - Handle purchase orders, packing slips, invoices, and related paperwork. - Coordinate with other departments for smooth workflow between office and warehouse. - Prepare, receive, and process material orders for projects and shipments. - Arrange transportation for deliveries via trucking or courier. - Inspect, pack, and label materials for shipping; prepare shipping documents. - Unload and stock merchandise manually or using equipment (including forklift). - Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and general warehouse organization. - Maintain accuracy and uphold safety and housekeeping standards. Qualifications - Minimum of 5 years of warehouse management experience is preferred. - Valid drivers license. - Knowledge of construction tools/equipment. - Computer software proficiency email and inventory management software is preferred. - Viking values, respects, and supports the interests of its employees from all walks of life.
