We are seeking an experienced Construction Director TSF (Tailings Storage Facility) & Bulk Earthworks to lead the execution of a major tailings dam and earthworks scope within a high-altitude mining project in South America. This site-based role demands a hands-on leader with deep expertise in heavy civil construction and mass excavation. Project Type: Large-scale Mining & Infrastructure Lead construction execution for the TSF (Tailings Storage Facility) and bulk earthworks, including drill & blast and mass excavation. ~ Champion a strong HSE culture across all phases of the project. ~ Provide field support for contract development, contractor mobilization, and execution oversight. ~ Manage fleet mobilization, logistics, and infrastructure development. ~ Oversee construction of a 100m earthen tailings dam, ensuring compliance with quality standards. ~ 100T earthmoving fleet management. ~ Support early site development and infrastructure planning to enable smooth mobilization. ~ Drive schedule and production management, including schedule mitigation strategies. ~ Lead personnel across EPCM home office and field execution teams. 1520 years of experience in heavy civil construction, preferably in mining. ~ Prior leadership in tailings dam construction and mass excavation. ~ Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English. ~ Argentina experience is an asset. ~ Strong background in project setup, planning, and field execution. ~ Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams in remote environments.
