Job Title: Manager, Workplace Strategy & DesignLocation: Toronto, ON, Hybrid (3 days on-site per week, occasional travel to Winnipeg)Language: Fluent in English, both written and spokenAbout the OpportunityOur client, a leading organization in the tech and logistics sector, is seeking a Manager, Workplace Strategy & Design to lead their workplace and facilities function across two major Canadian offices. This high-impact, strategic role is ideal for someone passionate about employee experience, project management, and creating engaging, collaborative office environments. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams and have daily visibility with executive leadership, including the CEO, shaping the future of workplace design in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.In this role, you will take ownership of end-to-end workplace initiatives, translating trends and employee feedback into practical office enhancements, fit-outs, and design upgrades. This is a chance to grow your career while leading strategic, high-visibility projects and coaching a national team of five professionals.Your ResponsibilitiesYoull lead innovative strategies to improve in-office experiences across multiple locations.Youll oversee workplace design initiatives, including fit-outs, renovations, and office enhancements.Youll manage vendor contracts, lease agreements, and facilities operations to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.Youll ensure safe, secure, and compliant office environments in partnership with the Health & Safety Advisor.Youll coach, lead, and develop a national team across Toronto and Winnipeg offices.Youll act as the primary liaison between internal teams and external vendors, maintaining strong communication and collaboration.Youll provide strategic updates and insights to senior leadership and the CEO.Skills and Qualifications5+ years of experience in workplace experience, facilities management, or property operations.Proven ability to manage large-scale projects in commercial real estate.Strong project management, vendor management, and contract negotiation skills.Experience with budgets, lease agreements, and compliance protocols.Hands-on mentality with adaptability in fast-paced, high-growth environments.Requires strong PowerPoint presentation skills.Strong leadership skills and experience managing cross-functional teams.Exceptional communication, presentation, and executive presence.Note from the Hiring ManagerWere looking for someone who brings creativity, energy, and strategic thinking to every project.
