We are currently seeking a certified *310T Truck and Coach Technician* to join our dynamic and safety-focused team. Having a *310S Automotive Technician *certification is considered a huge asset. Beacocks is committed to work/life balance and promotes workplace safety and quality workmanship *Job Summary: *The *310T Mechanic* will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining trucks and commercial vehicles in accordance with OEM specifications and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is a licensed 310T Technician with strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship. A 310S certification, in addition to holding a 310T license will allow for diagnosing and repairing automobiles and pick-up trucks. *Key Responsibilities:* * Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in commercial and private vehicles. * Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel and gas engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and other systems. * Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize vehicle downtime. * Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve vehicle issues. * Complete repair orders and maintain detailed service records and logs. * Ensure compliance with Ministry of Transportation (MTO) safety standards when completing Safety Inspections. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. * Collaborate with other technicians and managers to ensure timely repairs. * Supervise and teach apprentices * Stay updated on new technologies and procedures through training and certification programs. *Qualifications:* * Valid Ontario 310T Truck and Coach Technician License (mandatory). * Valid Ontario 310S Automotive Technician License would be considered a huge asset. * Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics. * Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and tools. * Proficiency in English required. * Must possess and maintain a valid Ontario drivers license. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. *Working Conditions:* * Shop environment with occasional field service work. * May require lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in varied temperatures. * Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. *What We Offer:* * Competitive hourly wage. * Benefits package (health, dental, vision, life insurance). * Ongoing training and development opportunities. * Supportive and safety-first work environment.
