Reporting to the Project Manager, the Estimator role includes reviewing tender opportunities, contract specifications, and documents, preparing of budgets, order processing and coordination with various suppliers and internal departments on active contracts. Basic project cycle phases will be expanded to include Identification of opportunity; Implementation; efficiency and service monitoring; Communicate on a daily and regular basis with the project managers and operations teams, both field and shop operations. Review project drawings and specifications, project specific geotechnical reports, hydrogeological reports, and environmental reports. Develop detailed groundwater control solutions for all sectors of construction including the Environmental, Heavy Civil, I.Institutional, Commercial, Industrial), Tunnel, Mining, and Municipal / Private Infrastructure sectors. Develop and design multistage groundwater treatment and filtration systems for site specific applications related to groundwater and surface water control. Verify quantities, materials and consumables along with installation and return dates to ensure budgets are met and any extras to contract are tracked. Communicate and coordinate with customers in a professional and timely manner to ensure superior customer service. Locate and source available projects for tender and attend tender site meetings. Act in compliance with Aquatech''s Health and Safety and Environmental Management. Be point of contact to GC/client(estimator) for quoting enquiries, tender opportunities and job closings. Prepare quotations for tender submission using inventory software management program. Attend pre-bid site visits, assess jobsite layouts. Finalize bid and present to Project Manager and Senior Project Manager for final signature (2-signature policy). Follow up on final tender results as per our standard guideline and track on CRM. and update CRM as per policy. Upon award, responsible for project transition to team. Track and record all opportunities and details through CRM software (Salesforce). Report results to senior management. Coordinate and oversee logistics, installation/assembly crews, pumping system operation through to decommissioning and equipment return as per scope of agreements/contracts with customer. Bachelor''s Degree, preferably in mechanical or architectural engineering, civil engineering, earth sciences, or related experience. ~2 to 4 years experience in hydrogeological, geotechnical, mechanical, or civil engineering (construction and industrial sector). ~ Strong oral and written communication, presentation, interpersonal, customer service, negotiation, organizational, computer literate (AutoCad) and time management skills. ~ Sporadic exposure to outdoor weather, shop, and job site conditions. ~ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Strong on Excel) and AutoCad would be an asset. ~ Sporadic exposure to outdoor weather, shop, and job site conditions ~
