POSTING DATE: December 16th, 2025 CLOSING DATE: December 31st, 2025 POSITION TYPE: Casual Al-Pac) is seeking a Casual Health, Safety, & Security Advisor to work out of our mill site near Athabasca, Alberta . Reporting to the Health, Safety, and Security (HSS) Manager, this position is responsible for providing ongoing medical and technical support for the organization. This role provides immediate response and treatment for team member medical incidents and/or fire and hazmat emergencies, they participate in workplace safety investigations, conduct various testing, provide safety orientations, and conduct safety and security inspections and observations on shift. This role is a casual opportunity, called as needed, to work days, nights, weekends and weekdays at irregular intervals. Our mill is located near the communities of Athabasca, Boyle & Lac La Biche. Interact daily with team members and contractors to ensure HSS compliance. Participate in Emergency Response as a shift leader on the mill emergency response team. Monitor fire systems and perform first aid care as needed. Provide expertise on hazard recognition and coach others in performing field level hazard assessments and field audits. Assist to maintain medical and rescue equipment. Administer pre-employment drug screen testing and post-incident and drug and alcohol testing. Assist with occupational hygiene compliance testing within the mill, including but not limited to gas detection, mask fit testing and hazard assessments. Participate in inspections/assessments and audits and observe activities and monitor the physical security of the Mill-Site. 3 years'' experience as an Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP), Primary Care Paramedic (PCP), or Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) licensed with the Alberta College of Paramedics. ~ Valid Class 5 Driver''s License. ~ Strong computer skills.
