Job Description

Primary Role:This well spoken, business and tech savvy Project Manager will manage manufactured product projects that ship worldwide into the global control room market. Accountable to the Regional Team Leader, the Project Manager will have end-to-end project management responsibility and manage their proposal packages, project planning, change management, project execution, completion, project profitability process and post-sale follow up processesKey Responsibilities:Manage and monitor projects during proposals, execution, and closing phasesManage and report on project profitabilityReview contract Terms & Conditions for potential issues and discuss with the Team LeaderWorks directly with internal and external stakeholdersProvide problems solving on project issuesUnderstand product and service capabilities and limitationsMastery of internal processes and proceduresDevelop knowledge of architectural, control room, and ergonomic principlesProvide support to the Regional Lead or other Project Managers as requiredSupport ISO Quality standards and requirementsSupport the development of Project Coordinators under the direction of the Regional LeadCompetencies:Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skillsStrong business acumen - focus on project profitabilityCapable of interpreting and understanding technical and architectural drawingsProcess oriented with a strong attention to detailAbility to develop a project Gantt chart / Project SchedulesPersonal Attributes:Must enjoy engaging people, both internally and externallyAn engaging personality and clear communication skills a mustStrong work ethicSelf-motivated and eager to continuously learnStrong organizational and time management skills and the ability to re-prioritize in highpressure situationsComfortable pushing back on internal stakeholders when necessaryEducation/Experience:Post-secondary education (Bachelor preferred), preferably with a technical background inengineering or businessPMP Certified, PMI training or willing to take trainingExperience in a manufacturing or furniture environment a strong advantage5-10 years experience as a full scope, senior Project Manager
