MUV Logistics Network Technologies Ltd. (moovez) is looking for movers. Were currently hiring a reliable mover with a clean driving record to operate our 10-foot cube truck primarily on weekends, with occasional weekday jobs as needed. This is a great opportunity if you're looking for flexible, part-time work. The workload varies depending on weekend bookings, some days may be a couple of hours, while other days may be a full 8-hour shift. Movers are the customer-facing side of our business and play a major role in customer satisfaction and brand reputation. Were looking for individuals who are professional, energetic, and happy to go the extra mile to deliver a smooth, stress-free moving experience. What Youll Do: - Drive and operate a 10-foot cube truck for local moving/delivery jobs - Load and unload household items and furniture - Move items carefully without damaging walls, flooring, or property - Secure items properly using straps and moving blankets - Keep the vehicle organized and clean (hang straps, fold blankets, sweep cargo space) - Perform minor packing as needed - Furniture disassembly/reassembly when required - Represent moovez in a professional, friendly, and trustworthy manner - Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards Requirements: - Valid Alberta Drivers License - Clean driving record (required to operate company vehicle) - Proof of eligibility to work in Canada - Age 18+ - 1+ years of residential/commercial moving experience (preferred) - Truck driving experience (preferred) - Physically fit and hardworking - Must be able to lift 75 lbs for extended periods (occasionally 100 lbs+) - Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented - Comfortable working with a helper and directly with customers - No criminal record or convictions (background check may be required) - Smartphone with data Schedule & Workload: - Primarily weekends - Occasional weekday jobs may be available and required - Hours vary based on bookings *Some shifts may be 23 hours *Some may be up to 8 hours Pay & Role Type: - $25$40 per hour (depends on efficiency, and job type) - Contract / third-party contractor role *Pay is based on jobs completed *The more efficient you are, the higher your effective hourly rate can be - Tips: You keep 100% Why moovez? moovez is an innovative early-stage startup building a modern platform for local moving and delivery.
