Job Overview Reporting to theDirector, Construction, as the Project Directoryou will oversee all aspects of construction projects that relate to large and complex construction, including but not limited to mid-rise and high-rise construction (or projects comparable in size/scope)to ensure projects are completed according to the prescribed budget, timeline and quality standards. You also act as the departmental liaison with other related parties. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: - Leading the project design, permitting, tendering, construction and homeowner relations. - Collaborating with relevant parties to establishandmaintainprojectproformas,budgetsandschedules, and prepare proposed saleprices. - Hiring, directing, supervising, developing and providing guidance to office and site team members while promoting a collaborative work environment. - Overseeingand fostering positive relationships withdesignconsultants,trades,suppliers and other industrypartners. Selecting and tendering contracts to trades and suppliers. - Managing purchasing, estimating, contracts, change orders, problem resolutions and vendormanagement. - Participating in the development of new projects, product lines, floor plans and designdetails. - Developing and modifying models or specifications when necessary.
