What Youll Do - Lead all aspects of financial reporting and analysis for the plant, ensuring timely and accurate results in line with Canadian GAAP and internal standards. - Oversee cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support operational excellence. - Partner with the operations team to improve efficiency, strengthen margins, and support continuous improvement initiatives. - Manage inventory valuation, cost control, and physical inventory processes to ensure transparency and accountability. - Provide meaningful financial insights that link operational performance to profitability. - Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with audit, tax, and corporate requirements. - Develop and mentor a high-performing plant finance team, fostering collaboration and a culture of accountability. What You Bring - Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or equivalent designation preferred). - 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including several years in a manufacturing or plant-based leadership role. - Strong expertise in cost accounting, inventory management, and ERP systems (Syteline, Epicor, or similar). - Proven ability to partner with operations to improve cost efficiency, margins, and cash flow. - Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a hands-on, problem-solving approach. - Experience in aerospace or other regulated manufacturing industries is a plus.
