The opportunity EY is seeking a Senior to join our Technology Risk team supporting external audit engagements (IT Audit) as well as third party assurance engagements (IT Attestation). This professional will support engagement teams and directly assist clients in utilizing information systems, resources, and controls to maximize efficiencies and minimize risks. Your key responsibilities Management of Audit Engagements - Provide highquality professional management of internal and external audit projects. - Understand EYs practices and service offerings, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation. OnSite Coordination - Lead and support onsite coordination for audit clients, including planning and briefing the team on the clients IT environment and industry trends. - Coach and mentor staff, ensuring effective communication with clients and successful completion of audit engagements. Client Relationship Management - Maintain strong relationships with client management to manage expectations regarding service delivery, work products, and timelines. - Deliver value to clients by aligning services with their specific needs and industry challenges. Preparation of Audit Reports - Prepare comprehensive IT audit reports assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of control structures. - Provide practical recommendations to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of controls and processes. - Discuss and resolve IT audit issues and recommendations with client management, fostering a collaborative approach to problemsolving. - Understanding of Information Systems: - Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex information systems and apply this knowledge to client situations, ensuring relevant insights are provided. Skills and attributes for success - A passion to contribute to the growth of the practice - Ability to coach and mentor junior staff on engagements. - Hands on experience with enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP S4/HANA, Oracle Financials or JD Edwards. - Highly professional with ability to work in challenging, diverse and evolving client environments - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - The ability to build strong client relationships - Strong team working skills What we are looking for - A minimum of 2 years of experience in IT external and/or internal audit; - Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Business Administration, Commerce, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other relevant program required. - Possessing relevant accounting / audit designation(s) or working towards one (e.g. CISA). - Demonstrated knowledge of COSO, COBIT, ITIL, or other IT frameworks would be as asset. - Proficiency using SharePoint and MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, OneNote and PowerPoint - Willingness to travel As an ambassador for the Tech Risk team, you will need to build a strong network internally and be able to exceed our clients high expectations.
