The Legal Technology Solutions Analyst will support the Legal Technology Solutions Lead in executing technology initiatives, maintaining legal platforms, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the Legal department. Working under the direction of the Legal Technology Solutions Lead, this role will assist with platform administration, documentation, testing, training, and cross-functional coordination to drive efficiency and adoption of legal technology solutions.This role collaborates closely with Legal Operations, IT, Finance, technology vendors, attorneys, and professional staff to support the implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of technology-driven solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesWorkflow Optimization & AutomationSupport the analysis of existing legal workflows and assist with implementing technology-based improvements.Enable automation and AI initiatives to enhance productivity, streamline processes, and improve service delivery.Platform Administration & OperationsAssist with the administration, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of core legal technology platforms, including Ironclad (CLM), Onit (matter management), Legal Tracker (e-billing), DocuSign, and JIRA.Support user provisioning, role-based access controls, and security permissions across legal systems.Provide day-to-day operational support and assist with continuous improvement initiatives.Analytics & ReportingHelp design, build, and maintain dashboards tracking KPIs, technology adoption, tool performance, outside counsel spend, accruals, and budget forecasts.Provide recurring and ad hoc reporting to support Legal Operations and leadership decision-making.Requirements & DocumentationSupport requirements-gathering efforts by documenting business needs, creating process flows, and maintaining functional and technical documentation.Maintain up-to-date system documentation and knowledge resources.Implementation & Project SupportAssist with legal technology implementation projects by coordinating tasks, tracking timelines, and supporting vendor engagements.Coordinate testing activities, including designing test scenarios, supporting business acceptance testing (BAT), managing UAT cycles, and documenting results.Support project coordination efforts by tracking deliverables, milestones, and dependencies.Vendor & Stakeholder CoordinationServe as a point of contact for routine vendor requests and issue resolution; escalate complex issues as needed.Support cross-functional collaboration with IT, Finance, and other internal teams to ensure smooth technology operations.Training & EnablementPrepare training materials, user guides, and self-service resources.Support and deliver demos, training sessions, and UAT support to drive effective adoption of legal technology tools.AI EnablementLeverage AI tools and assistants (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) to accelerate documentation, automate repetitive workflows, enhance analysis, and deliver high-quality results efficiently.Required QualificationsBachelors degree required.5+ years of experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, legal operations, or legal technology environment in a legal tech or business systems analyst capacity.Required hands-on experience with Ironclad (CLM).Demonstrated experience administering legal software and knowledge management tools.Hands-on configuration and support experience with at least two of the following platforms: Ironclad (required), Onit, DocuSign, JIRA, or similar CLM/legal spend management systems.Proven ability to gather, document, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.Experience supporting technology implementations and coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.Experience conducting business acceptance testing and coordinating UAT activities.Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency, automate tasks, and deliver high-quality work.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and support concurrent projects.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Self-starter who can work independently while taking direction from leadership and collaborating within a team environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting Legal Operations or in-house legal departments.Familiarity with legal analytics, KPI reporting, and financial/legal spend data.Prior experience supporting knowledge management or document management systems.Why JoinThis role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of law, technology, and operationssupporting innovative legal technology initiatives, enabling AI-driven efficiencies, and contributing to the modernization of legal service delivery within a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
