Inventory Analyst Supply ChainLocation: Calgary, AB, T3J 4T6 Pay Rate: $24/hour (increases to $26/hour after successful completion of a 3-month evaluation) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m. Employment Type: Full-Time Start Date: ASAPAbout the RoleWe are currently seeking a Full-Time Inventory Analyst to join our NDC Warehouse within Supply Chain Operations. This role reports directly to the Material Handling Optimization (MHO) Supervisor and plays a key part in driving inventory accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.The ideal candidate is highly analytical, curious, and self-motivated, with a passion for data, problem-solving, and process optimization. You thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy tackling complex challenges, and are comfortable working with ambiguity while delivering clear, actionable insights.As an Inventory Analyst, you will use data-driven analysis to enhance inventory productivity, reduce discrepancies, and support strategic planning. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across demand planning, supply chain, distribution, and finance to improve operational efficiency and build sustainable inventory management practices.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and enhance inventory management processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and inventory health while reducing discrepancies and excess stockAnalyze inventory data to identify trends, patterns, root causes, and opportunities for improvementTranslate data insights into actionable recommendations and process improvementsConduct root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and work with front-line teams to resolve issuesMaintain accurate inventory control records and provide regular reporting to managementLead and participate in meetings to present inventory findings, trends, and recommendationsCollaborate with supply chain, distribution, and planning teams to align inventory strategiesPerform cycle counts, virtual counts, aisle audits, and annual physical inventoriesUtilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) toolsEnsure inventory processes comply with company policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standardsMaintain adherence to safety protocols related to inventory storage and material handlingUpdate inventory data and ensure system accuracy and data integrityQualifications & RequirementsEducation & ExperiencePost-secondary education or equivalent relevant work experienceMinimum 2 years of experience in an inventory planning, inventory control, or analyst roleExperience working in a Lean-driven environmentTechnical & Professional SkillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently, take initiative, and manage prioritiesStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Solid understanding of warehouse processes, inventory controls, and logistics operationsExperience using inventory management systems; Oracle experience is an assetAbility to investigate issues and expedite effective solutionsStrong written and verbal communication skillsTeam-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across departmentsWork Schedule RequirementAbility to work weekdays Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m.
