Job Description

Position: Training Content ManagerCGS is seeking an experienced Content Manager to join our instructional delivery services team. The Content Manager will be responsible for overseeing the curation and management of the learning content for a plasma center training program. This role involves collaborating with technical training developers, subject matter experts, and instructional designers to ensure the ongoing maintenance of high-quality and engaging training materials.ResponsibilitiesOversee the organization and maintenance of a learning object asset manifest and content repository, ensuring seamless access to training materials for instructors, learners, and the delivery administration team.Collaborate with technical training developers, subject matter experts, instructors, instructional designers, and other stakeholders to identify new training needs and ensure content accuracy and relevance.Manage the content creation and maintenance processes, including project timelines, resource allocation, and quality assurance.Conduct regular reviews and updates of existing training materials to ensure they meet current standards and objectives.Collaborate with instructors and the delivery administration team to assess the effectiveness of content through feedback, evaluations, and performance metrics.Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in training content development and delivery.QualificationsA bachelors degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communications, or a related field. A masters degree is a plus.10+ years of experience in instructional design, content development, or a learning-related role.High proficiency in the use of:Learning management systems (LMS) to organize curriculums and learning object curations.Microsoft Excel to collect and analyze structured data used by various information management systems.MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS OneNote, MS SharePoint, MS Planner, and Smartsheet.A strong understanding of instructional design theories, adult learning principles, and best practices and emerging trends in technology-enabled learning methods and production practices.Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.A creative mindset with strong writing, editing, and visual design skills.The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Experience with video production, graphic design, or e-learning authoring tools is advantageous.General knowledge of aspects of blood banking and biotherapeutics and experience working in a regulated health care environment is an asset.BenefitsA competitive salary and benefits package.Remote work from home.The opportunity for career growth and development.A collaborative and inclusive work environment.
