Title of Position - Manager - Hardware Installation and Support Job Duties* Responsible for coordination of Installation and Commissioning activities at new sites within Canada.* Plan, prioritize and delegate the operational activities within the hardware support team.* Directly involved in the strategizing and managing the project timeline.* Develop, update, and suggest changes in the Standard operating procedures, guidelines, and policies to perform various activities and operational work.* Closely collaborate with the customer/clients to understand their needs and effectively communicate with the respective team and come up with the appropriate solutions.* Assisting in the signing of commissioning certificate by the Client post-handover, by ensuring handover completion and closure of any open issues.* Perform troubleshooting, examine the challenges, errors and issues faced by customers and come up with analytical and solution-oriented ideas to resolve them.* Ensure customer satisfaction through direct liaison with client representatives, customers and service recipients.* Coordinate with 3rd part vendors for getting quotes for installation activities like barcodes marking, pasting, MSUs/MXUs assemblies, PPS (pick put station) assemblies, charger assemblies, etc.* Monitor and control the work with 3rd party vendors to ensure all the installation activities are progressing as per the project plan timelines.* Monitor and control the KPI of the site goals and ensure the site runs at higher uptime for hardware (product solutions, stations, machines etc.).* Review and analyze the blueprints and layouts of the warehouse, System solutions, component drawings, and other technical reports and guide for optimum solution.* Lead and support the research activities and propose technology, solutions, and designs.* Coordinate with supply chain to ensure material is received on site as per the required BOM, highlight shortages, ensure all the assembly documents, SOPs, drawings are available for assembly.* Planning, creating and maintaining detailed records of installation & commissioning activities and providing feedback to all internal stakeholders for continuous improvement through I&C Manager.* Generate lessons learned, case studies, and solution blogs for future references and share the design improvement points with the technical team.* Follow and implementing all safety standards and guidelines as per EHS during site installation & commissioning.* Hire new team members, provide training and mentor the team for efficient and effective attainment of organizational objectives.* Mentoring and training the Technicians and Customers as required.* Resolving day to day project problems and site operational challenges or team conflicts.Terms of Employment - Full-TimeWage Range - $105K - $110K CAD (Fixed)Location of Work - Toronto, Canada Schedule: Monday to FridayBenefits package being offered**Skills requirements, including Education and Work Experience*** Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.* The candidate must have a minimum of 6 years of overall work experience.* A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role is required.* The candidate should have at least 4 years of experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS).* A minimum of 4 years of experience in supply chain management is required, including expertise in logistics, procurement, and distribution processesShare this jobGreyOrange is a global technology company unifying AI-driven software and mobile robotics to modernize order fulfillment and optimize warehouse operations in real time.
