Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for an Employment Counselor based in Brampton, ON, with some remote work flexibility. The Employment Counselor will provide guidance and coaching to assist clients in achieving their career aspirations. Responsibilities include offering job coaching, developing job search strategies, providing career counseling, maintaining effective case management plans, and assisting clients in their employment journey through accompaniment and support in related activities. Qualifications Proficiency in Job Coaching and Career Counseling, emphasizing personalized guidance and mentorship Strong understanding of Job Search Strategies and experience assisting clients in preparing resumes, cover letters, and interview techniques Skills in Case Management, including organizing and maintaining client files and developing tailored employment plans Capable of providing Accompaniment services, offering direct support and navigation assistance throughout the employment process Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Knowledge of labor market trends and employment resources is highly desirable Bachelors degree in Career Counseling, Social Work, Human Resources, or a related field preferred Position Details Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Other Industry: Information Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
