This state-of-the-art terminal is a joint venture between Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H) and GrainsConnect Canada Operations Inc. (GrainsConnect). **Our owners are investing in assets such as FGT to continue building on growth trajectory.** Both partner companies in FGT have demonstrated their commitment to the growth of Canadian overseas markets by making significant investments in resources to efficiently export Canadian farmers grain and specialty product exports and contributing to the worlds food supply chain. **Apply your skills and experience to the next step in your career.** As General Labourer, you will carry out the required duties involved in the movement and sampling of grain, and the overall execution of processes involved in the operation of Fraser Grain Terminal (FGT). # **The General Labourer will be responsible for:** - Contributing to the movement of grain by loading/unloading - Assisting with any issues with daily operations as needed - Regular facility maintenance and housekeeping - Committing to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment - Reporting on any issues or concerns to the Operations Supervisor - Conducting facility cleaning on a scheduled basis and as directed by the Operations Supervisor - Completing any duties assigned by the Operations Supervisor # **The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:** - Excellent communications skills with experience using remote radios - Basic computer operating skills or ability to learn - Valid Class 5 drivers license - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment - Experience with terminal operation within agricultural industry would be an asset - Flexible to work in and support a 24/7 operational environment - Ability to work in various weather conditions - Ability to stand or sit for extended period, climb ladders and stairs, and lift up to 50lbs *We thank all applicants, but only those selected for an interview will be contacted.* *Learn more about us at* *is committed to building a skilled and diverse workforce that is reflective of Canadian society.
