This role is responsible to develop and lead the B2B Sales Experience Team in the effort to achieve annual sales targets for conferences, trade shows, print, and digital advertising. This role will also account manage some high-profile customers and high-complexity contracts including prospecting and nurturing new business relationships. This role will support canfitpro events across Canada and globally as needed. This role will also collaborate with other canfitpro teams to deliver quality experiences and event logistics.1. Manages the full execution of the annual B2B sales targets including promotional timelines and unique related-tasks such as the development of sales materials and presentations:Supports the education curriculum build and attend regular meetings to confirm sponsored education participation and prospects providing updates from open or new opportunities for all events.Attends external events for industry knowledge and for prospecting. Collaborates with the Eventand Certification & Education teams to determine site selection and needs, and the fulfillment of all sponsor & exhibitor entitlements. Experience Assesses the performance, workload, capacity, and competencies team members to align with team goals and expectations Provides mentorship and guidance for role and career development Contacts: Marketing & Communications Team, B2B Sales ExperiencePurpose of Communication: To plan and deploy marketing for delegate and consumer attendance at events, and for the fulfillment of purchased booth and sponsorships to support the event cost subsidy.Purpose of Communication: for event execution and delivery including the fulfillment of paid positions and opportunities secured related to canfitpro events. Education Minimum Required: Minimum of post-secondary education Preferred: Post-Secondary Education in Business Management Work Experience Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong time-management and organization skills Computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Proven ability to train, develop and mentor a team of event planners Strong people skills and ability to deliver on objectives with a service minded approach Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously High problem-solving and critical thinking skills Ability to manage vendor and 3rd party relationships Experience and interest in the fitness industry is an asset Strong listening skills Negotiating skills Marketing knowledge Core Competencies Planning: Accurately scopes out length and difficulty of tasks and projects and sets objectives and goals.
