We are seeking a qualified individual to fill the opening of the South Western Ontario Service Manager position.About T&TIn 1980, T&T Diesel Power was formed with a focus on standby and emergency generators. Over the next forty years, we established ourselves as the standard in building and servicing power generation equipment. Today we offer solutions that range from small standby power generators for residences to multi-megawatt combined heat and power solutions for health care and industry. We are a company built on unique core values resulting in many awards, including being named the Siemens Gas Engines Distributor of the Year, Danfoss Global Partner of the Year and Canada Best Managed Companies.Your key responsibilities will be:Model the way for safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours in support of T&T Power groups Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives.Ensure all employees comply with established customer safety rulesGenerally, work with team members to ensure efficient and effective coordination of technicians, parts and deficiencies and customer communicationsTake full responsibility for departmental P&LProvide excellent customer service as key contact for field service requirements and work orders to maximize the productivity of field service operationsPromote customer satisfaction, follow up on repairs and collaborate with other departments to deliver high-level serviceTrain and coach team members to meet and exceed customer and business expectations by administering performance evaluationsImprove customer and employee satisfaction by initiating corrective procedures in the field service operationsProvide directions on financial implications of work orders, including customer pay, warranties, claims, policies and return visitsCreate quotes and review, and prepare invoices for internal and external customersManage work-in-progress (WIP) and contamination controlInvestigate and report accidents or near missesIdentify and resolve issues by initiating corrective actionsEncourage continuous improvement for field operations through regularly scheduled meetings and associated trainingAssist the PSM with the management of fixed assets and preparation for capital expendituresManage maintenance on the fleet of field service trucksManage employees at off-site locationsWork with a sense of urgency and foster team efforts to encourage growthMonitoring and improving service KPIs and reporting results to senior leadershipRequirements:We cannot stress enough that strong computer aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new software programs and procedures is a critical and non-negotiable skill required for this job - ERP experience an assetComfort in a fast-paced and constantly changing working environmentAbility to produce consistent quality of work under pressureRelevant Technical Background is Required: Demonstrated experience or understanding within a technically-focused industry such as Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical, or Power Generation (Engines/Generators/Parts).Experience with Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to identify and solve problems through meticulous planning and careful execution with little to no oversight or directionteam player with excellent written/verbal communication skills (English)Strong consideration will be given to individuals with experience in any/all of the following areas:Management & LeadershipHealth and safetyPost-secondary education or equivalent work experience is an assetAnd most Importantly...
