Customer Service Representative Job Summary: We are hiring a Customer Service Representative to work with one of our transportation and logistics clients! The successful candidate will manage the full scope of client order processing while collaborating closely with customers to develop creative solutions that address their needs. Active participation within the CSR team is critical to personal, team, and company-wide success. The ideal candidate will be confident in recognizing opportunities to enhance processes, reduce inefficiencies, and support initiatives focused on cost savings. Job Type: Full-time, permanent. Job Location: Brampton, ON Compensation Structure: $50,000-$55,000 per annum (based on experience) + benefits + profit sharing + RRSP match Responsibilities: - Coordinate export cargo movements with warehouses, rail providers, steamship lines, and customers. - Create orders and arrange LTL deliveries, including scheduling delivery appointments and follow-ups as needed. - Process import releases and guarantees when required. - Use internal systems to schedule export pickups, loadings, and releases. - Prepare and manage delivery orders, load plans, pickup orders, and related documentation within Logirack. - Create and distribute load plan folders, including bills of lading and supporting spreadsheets, and communicate plans to carriers and GFS. - Maintain accurate documentation by updating dock receipts, uploading photos, scanning files, and providing required documents to customers. - Monitor dock office and pickup reports to ensure all POs are completed and reschedule as necessary. - Provide dock office coverage, accept and process tenders, and coordinate appointments with GFS vendors. - Support dispatch and GFS with driver issues, pickup inquiries, and general coordination. - Respond promptly and professionally to customer and internal email communications. - Assist other CSR team members with account coverage, data entry, and overflow workload as needed. - Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational and team objectives. Skills/Qualifications: - Highschool diploma or equivalent - 2-4 years of experience in logistics is a requirement. - Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.
