Position Overview Maplesoft Group is seeking a Hybrid Senior Consultant for IT strategy for our client. This is a Hybrid role in Toronto, ON. The successful candidate will lead the development of a comprehensive Information Technology (IT) Strategy, work closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders to align technology investments with organizational priorities, enabling sustainable digital transformation and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities - Codevelop a strategic IT roadmap that aligns business objectives with technology evolution, including enterprise systems (ERP), cloud platforms, cybersecurity, data and analytics, and artificial intelligence. - Provide strategic advisory services within large, complex public sector organizations, including environments with frontline and regulatoryfacing services. - Lead and facilitate crossfunctional planning workshops, executive advisory sessions, and decisionmaking forums. - Engage effectively with diverse stakeholder groups, navigating complex governance structures and political environments. - Apply structured frameworks and toolkits such as capability models, prioritization matrices, and maturity assessments to support strategic decisionmaking. - Advise on IT strategy within the context of Ontarios municipal governance, legislative, and compliance requirements. - Support organizational change management initiatives, business process reengineering, and capacitybuilding efforts related to digital transformation. Required Qualifications and Experience - Demonstrated experience developing and delivering enterpriselevel IT strategies and roadmaps. - Proven public sector experience providing strategic guidance to organizations with 3,000+ employees. - Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level. - Experience leading complex, crossfunctional initiatives and working within formal governance models. - Deep understanding of digital transformation practices, including change management and process improvement. - Knowledge of Ontario municipal governance and regulatory environments is required.
