Position: GIS analystLocation: New Brunswick, Canada (Remote)Duration: 6 MonthsResponsibilitiesUse world class software to prepare and deliver high quality spatial information productsUse maps and data sets for spatial analysis to support business decision-makingDevelop and support a variety of Desktop, Mobile and Web GIS apps across the various JDI business unitsCompile spatial data sets for a variety of sources, including LiDAR, census data, Global Positioning System (GPS) data, field observations, satellite images, and environmental monitoring dataPrepare reports of geographical statistics based on spatial dataCommunicate with clients to understand their needsLeverage the ESRI platform to deliver various location-based analysis for the Forestry, Transportation, Retail and other J.D.
