Together, we influence systems change, and foster inclusive, youthcentered solutions that enable young people to thrive and belong. We work with all young people, with a focus on women and displaced populations. WUSC currently operates in 28 countries across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as in Canada, with an annual budget of approximately CAD $65 million. Our global team includes over 100 staff in Canada and more than 250 staff internationally, implementing a diverse portfolio of development projects in collaboration with numerous multilateral and bilateral donors, and philanthropic foundations. Amongst other global programs, WUSC manages the worlds-longest standing refugee education pathway, known as the Student Refugee Program. Over 40+ years, nearly 3000 students have been resettled to Canada to begin their studies. Each year, WUSC works with a network of 100+ sponsoring post-secondary institutions, and 1200+ volunteers to provide peertopeer support to arriving refugee students, fund the costs of sponsorship, and to advocate for institutional and policy changes that support refugee inclusion both on and off campus. RESPONSIBILITIES The Manager, SRP Network provides strategic oversight and operational leadership for the Refugee Sponsorship and Campus Mobilization functions of the Student Refugee Program (SRP). This role is accountable for ensuring the WUSC Local Committee network maintains compliance with Private Sponsorship of Refugee (PSRP) requirements while driving the effective campus engagement of the SRP Regional Team and the entire Local Committee network across Canada. Refugee Sponsorship and Compliance Govern the annual cycle for refugee sponsorship commitments, including coordinating the launch, collection, detailed review, and final approval of all annual sponsorship commitments. Support the annual SRP matching process in collaboration with the Regional SRP team and SRP Operations Team. Design and conduct rigorous monitoring and quality assurance activities across the LC network to ensure compliance with all requirements of the Private Sponsorship of Refugee (PSRP) program. Coordinate the allocation of the SRP Growth and Retention funds annually. Provide guidance to the Regional SRP team to use with Local Committees to effectively prepare for and respond to sponsorship audits conducted by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Provide clear, effective leadership to the Regional Team to proactively respond to and manage refugee sponsorships and when breakdowns occur, ensuring compliance and the wellbeing of SRP students. National Program Coordination Provide strategic direction to the Regional SRP Team, coordinating their activities and engagements with Local Committees, SRP Students, and SRP Alumni. Coordinate the annual SRP training plan in collaboration with relevant WUSC teams, ensuring alignment with program goals and compliance standards. Coordinate the design and development of training content, tools, and resources for the SRP implemented by the Regional SRP Team to strengthen sponsorships. Manage the delivery of training and travel logistics for the Regional SRP Team, ensuring efficient and effective support for the SRP nationwide. Support the delivery of training to LCs as required. Coordinate communication to Local Committees, SRP students and Alumni to ensure content is accurate, timely, and streamlined for relevant audiences. Develop and monitor annual budget and expenses related to the Regional SRP Team activities, training and travel. Provide oversight on the maintenance and development of relevant SRP workplans (training, campus mobilization, Salesforce). Monitoring, Evaluation, Reflection and Learning (MERL) and Reporting Ensure that relevant modules are in place to effectively collect data and monitor refugee sponsorships. Review, and analyze annual data collection to formulate recommendations to inform program improvements. Provide quality control of SRP data collection, conducting regular data audits for quality assurance. Identify best practices across the program to document and share lessons learned, supporting donor reporting requirements. Task manage Program Officer, SRP Operations and Data Management on relevant program activities. Team Leadership and Human Resources Provide comprehensive daytoday management support and leadership to the SRP Regional Team, including managing workflows, assigning work tasks, coordinating processes, providing advice, direction and coaching and ensuring quality of deliverables. Manage the performance of all direct reports using WUSC policies and procedures, supported by consistent coaching, mentorship, and professional development. Other Support implementation of special streams of the SRP as required. Identify, develop, and implement improvements to systems, processes, and tools to enhance efficiency and impact of the SRP. QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES Bachelor degree in social sciences, global development, project management, business administration, or in a related field; Minimum of Seven years of experience in the development and/or management of projects/programs including 5 years of experience in team management; Extensive technical experience in WUSCs areas of programming: inclusive education, skills for employment, inclusive market systems development, youth empowerment, womens economic empowerment; Knowledge of frameworks and good practices of labour standards (familiarity with hospitality and tourism sector, HR employment needs and labour laws, an asset); Proven ability to work productively with a variety of stakeholders to run participatory processes and meet tight deadlines with an emphasis on producing quality products; Excellent capacity building skills, with demonstrated experience in effective training, coaching and facilitation Experience in the following areas: Refugee resettlement or settlement sector Newcomer employment and labour standards, job development Canadian immigration system and processes Building and strengthening partnerships with private, public and academic sectors Project management; Proficient computer skills. RESPONSABILITS Le/la Gestionnaire du rseau du PR assure la supervision stratgique et le leadership oprationnel des fonctions de parrainage de rfugis et de mobilisation des campus pour le Programme d''tudiants rfugis (PR). Ce rle est responsable de veiller ce que le rseau des comits locaux de lEUMC respecte les exigences du Programme de parrainage priv de rfugis (PPPR), tout en stimulant l''engagement efficace de l''quipe rgionale du PR et de l''ensemble du rseau des comits locaux travers le Canada. Parrainage de rfugis et conformit Grer le cycle annuel des engagements de parrainage de rfugis, y compris la coordination du lancement, la collecte, l''examen dtaill et l''approbation finale de tous les engagements annuels. Soutenir le processus annuel de jumelage du PR en collaboration avec l''quipe rgionale du PR et l''quipe des oprations du PR. Concevoir et mener des activits rigoureuses de suivi et d''assurance qualit au sein du rseau des comits locaux afin de garantir la conformit toutes les exigences du Programme de parrainage priv de rfugis (PPPR). Coordonner l''allocation annuelle des fonds de croissance et de rtention du PR. Coordination nationale du programme Fournir une orientation stratgique l''quipe rgionale du PR, en coordonnant leurs activits et engagements avec les comits locaux, SRP Students, et SRP Alumni. Coordonner le plan annuel de formation du PR en collaboration avec les quipes concernes de l''EUMC, en assurant l''alignement avec les objectifs du programme et les normes de conformit. Coordonner la conception et le dveloppement de contenus, d''outils et de ressources de formation pour le PR, mis en uvre par l''quipe rgionale pour renforcer les parrainages. Grer la prestation des formations et la logistique des dplacements de l''quipe rgionale du PR. Soutenir la prestation de formations aux LCs au besoin. Coordonner la communication avec les comits locaux, les tudiants et les anciens du PR pour garantir que le contenu est exact, opportun et rationalis. laborer et assurer le suivi du budget annuel et des dpenses lis aux activits, aux formations et aux dplacements de l''quipe rgionale du PR. Superviser la maintenance et le dveloppement des plans de travail pertinents du PR (formation, mobilisation des campus, Salesforce). Suivi, valuation, rflexion et apprentissage (SERA) et rapports S''assurer que les modules appropris sont en place pour collecter efficacement les donnes et suivre le parrainage. Examiner et analyser la collecte de donnes annuelle afin de formuler des recommandations l''amlioration du programme. Assurer la qualit de la collecte de donnes du PR en effectuant des audits rguliers. Identifier les meilleures pratiques afin de documenter et partager les leons apprises, soutenir les exigences de rapportage aux donateurs. Grer les tches de l''agent(e) de programme, Oprations et gestion des donnes du PR pour les activits concernes. Leadership d''quipe et ressources humaines Fournir un soutien de gestion quotidienne et un leadership complet l''quipe rgionale du PR, incluant la gestion des workflows, l''attribution des tches, la coordination des processus, la fourniture d''orientation et le coaching et la qualit des deliverables. Grer la performance de tous les subordonns directs conformment aux politiques de l''EUMC, par le biais d''un coaching constant et d''un mentorat professionnel. QUALIFICATIONS ET COMPTENCES Baccalaurat en sciences sociales, dveloppement international, gestion de projet, administration des affaires ou dans un domaine connexe. Minimum de sept ans d''exprience dans le dveloppement et/ou la gestion de projets/programmes, dont 5 ans d''exprience en gestion d''quipe.
