About the Role Reporting to the Vice President, Patient Care and Chief Nurse Executive (CNE), the Director, Quality, Patient Relations & Safety, IPAC is a key member of the QCH leadership team. The role has corporate responsibility for setting and achieving long- and short-term operational, clinical, financial, quality, and utilization/effectiveness goals for the portfolio. Responsibilities include directing the planning, development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of QCH quality improvement, quality assurance, risk management, client experience, clinical education and IPAC programs. The incumbent will leverage financial acumen and collaborate across departments to monitor and improve high-quality patient care, and will build an operational and people strategy to advance the True North strategic plan. This role requires full-time, on-site presence with clinical leadership, change management, and strategic direction for the team. The incumbent will ensure quality, patient experience and IPAC practices are integrated into QCHs strategic direction. Education & Experience QCH seeks a clinical leader with experience in leading quality, patient experience and IPAC teams in healthcare. The successful candidate will have strong communication, training and presentation skills, and the ability to influence leaders through analysis and strategic recommendations. They will typically hold a Masters Degree in a health-related program and have 5+ years of progressive healthcare/healthcare management experience.
