This role requires the successful candidate to reside in Eastern Canada with less than 25% travel and near an international airport for travel. Responsibilities As a senior UX researcher, support software projects across the organization and develop a close, collaborative relationship with users to enable a user-centered approach. Join the UX team and report to the manager of user research. Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, developers, and others, owning the entire research process from ideation to delivery of insights to the team and executives. Gain deep understanding about users with explorative and generative research, identify user needs, behaviors, and motivations to inform product strategy and innovation. Translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations. Partner with cross-functional teammates to identify research needs and goals, plan and execute tactical and foundational research. Moderate ideation workshops with a global multi-disciplinary team. Define measurable goals for product UX to align with the project team on what to build, with testable metrics. Ensure user insights are reflected in design concepts and solutions. Advocate for end users and promote a data-driven culture across the organization. Qualifications A masters degree in human-computer interaction, psychology, or a related field. 8+ years of industry experience in user research with deep knowledge of a variety of methods, especially explorative and generative approaches. Ability to think conceptually and work in ambiguous, early-stage product development within a regulated industry. Extensive experience collaborating with product management, design and development teams to influence strategic decisions. Strong communication skills and the ability to tell compelling stories with data to product teams and leadership. Medical knowledge or experience designing medical devices is a strong asset. We value diverse perspectives and believe in bringing your whole self to work. Base Pay and Benefits The base pay range for this position is Min $91,500 Max $141,500. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Siemens Healthineers offers health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
