Role objectives: User Experience Designers at OpenText research, design, prototype, and test software products that solve critical business needs of our customers. Leveraging an understanding of underlying architecture, product vision, and requirements, we create compelling, usable interfaces for complex enterprise software across desktop, web, tablet, and mobile. The Sr. Principal UX Designer leads crossproduct unit design initiatives, coordinating all UX disciplines, and collaborates closely with Development and Product Management stakeholders. What The Role Offers Recognized as an internal UX expert, leveraging broad industry expertise. Lead large-scale UX design projects, crossproduct initiatives, and product design integrations. Accountable for end-toend concepts and solutions critical to a product unit. Contribute to user experience design guidelines, principles, internal processes, and best practices. Tackle unique product design requirements with analytical and creative skill. Lead large project teams, collaborate with product and development leads, and communicate complex design approaches to diverse stakeholders. What You Need To Succeed 1215 years of professional experience. Proficiency with Figma and Adobe CC. Experience using FigJam and internal collaboration systems. Knowledge of current HTML and CSS. Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Octane/ValueEdge. Accessibility knowledge (WCAG, Section508, etc.). Experience with design systems. Design thinking methodology. A plus: Experience designing complex enterprise applications (DAM, ECM, SAP, RM, BPM, ERP, or WCM). A plus: Prior experience doing UX within an Agile environment. A plus: UI development experience (HTML, CSS, JS) for web, desktop, or mobile applications. Education: Degree in HCI, Human Factors Engineering, Cognitive Science, Interaction Design, Computer Science, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or related experience.
