About the role Were looking for a Director of Sales who shares our curiosity about the natural world and excitement for technology. What youll do Lead and mentor a global sales crew, setting clear goals and inspiring high performance Build strong, lasting relationships in academic, government, and industrial markets Spot opportunities in new markets, from polar science to renewable energy, and bring RBRs instruments into those projects in an impactful way Keep a close eye on numbers: forecast pipelines, monitor performance, and share clear updates with the senior leadership team Guide contract discussions to create agreements that share in our customers success, aligning with RBRs longterm commitments Partner closely with engineering, product, and operations so customer feedback directly shapes what we build next Frequently travel to customer labs, attend conferences, and visit coastal sites supporting customers who are working to understand and protect our planet What you bring A track record of leading highperforming sales teams in science, technology, or hardware industries experience with oceanography, environmental science, or precision instruments is a bonus Curiosity about the natural world and enthusiasm for innovative technology A natural communicator who can explain technical ideas clearly and connect with audiences from graduate students to senior government officials Integrity, drive, and the ability to build lasting, successful partnerships that help our customers achieve their goals Why youll love working at RBR Your work here goes far beyond sales targets.
