Package Engineer/Coordinator Remote, GTA Introduction Were hiring a Package Engineer/Coordinator for our mining client to join their team! You will be responsible for assisting in the coordination, tracking, verification, and review of deliverables from engineering consultants to ensure that design packages are prepared on time and accurately for inclusion into procurement and construction contracts. This role is a contract position, initially for a 12-month period and will be a remote / work-from-home position based in the Greater Toronto Area with frequent travel to consultant offices. Occasional travel to the project site in northern Manitoba and head office in downtown Toronto, among other potential locations, will also be required, on an as-needed basis. Responsibilities - Liaise with engineering, procurement, and construction teams, both internal and external, to ensure accurate and timely delivery of documentation and information required for procurement and contract packages - Maintain detailed and up-to-date knowledge of project developments - Verify document packages and documentation deliveries are on schedule - Compile and coordinate documentation for Construction Work Packages (CWPs) in alignment with project priorities, construction schedules, and consultant Engineering Work Packages (EWPs) - Participate in the development and review of scopes of work (SoWs), procurement packages, deliverables, and other project documentation - Ensure version control, consistent formatting, and accurate distribution of documents to relevant stakeholders - Ensure quality tracking of documentation - Track document versions and updates, ensuring alignment with project schedules and scope changes - Ensure that the engineering work is completed and adequately reviewed by relevant stakeholders in line with the project budget and schedule Requirements - Bachelors degree in an Engineering discipline (mechanical or electrical) or sufficient EPCM / construction and engineering experience - Technical diploma with extensive experience is an acceptable substitute for a bachelors degree - Minimum 10 years of progressive engineering, project management, and construction experience in the mining industry, preferably related to mine infrastructure and processing plants - Demonstrated leadership ability, a high level of energy, self-motivation, and strong organizational skills - Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment - Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively and efficiently communicate with relevant project stakeholders - Computer skills with the ability to use word processing, presentation, scheduling, and spreadsheet applications What We Offer Why work with Brunel?
