Responsibilities Financial Advisors partner with clients to help them achieve their longterm financial goals: retirement, building wealth, estate strategies, funding education and more. As a financial advisor with Edward Jones, youll develop and grow your own practice, supported by a client support team, a homeoffice team and other regional financial advisors. You will deeply understand the clients goals, build trust, and keep them on track to achieve their aspirations. Qualifications Four years of financial industry work experience OR a university degree or college diploma. Financial services registration, licensing, or certifications preferred. Experience in sales, business development and/or client acquisition. Experience in client prospecting. Ambition, selfmotivation and commitment to establishing longterm client relationships. Goaloriented with critical thinking skills. Maturity needed to serve the investing public. Analytical and communication skills to carry out regulatory requirements. Compensation We know that building a business takes time, so weve built a new financial advisor compensation program that supports and rewards you as you learn the skills, systems and business practices you need to succeed in our clientfirst business model. The program includes trainee pay, a supplemental salary for up to four years, commissions and compensation for new assets gathered for the first five years.
