Intermediate Site Inspector-Water/WastewaterJoin to apply for the Intermediate Site Inspector-Water/Wastewater role at GHD.Job DescriptionDue to continued growth of our Water Group in Ontario, our Construction Phase Services group is seeking an Intermediate Quality Assurance Inspector - Water/Wastewater based in Toronto or Greater Toronto Area offices. The role involves diversified experience in Site Inspection and Contract Administration for multi-disciplinary vertical and linear infrastructure projects.Working with a high-performing team, your responsibilities will include:Full-time site inspections and contract administration assistance on water and wastewater projects.Primary liaison with Plant & Owner staff on contract issues and coordination.Daily report, record, and photo documentation.Review of monthly payments and related administrative procedures.Providing feedback and resolving field issues with design engineers, contractors, and owners.Maintaining post-construction records and progress reports.Ensuring construction safety procedures are followed.Implementing inspection procedures in line with professional and corporate standards, including quality control.Ability to work extended hours and travel as needed.Completing required training such as Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights.Working outdoors in all weather conditions.Mentoring junior and intermediate staff.Assisting with site instructions, shop drawing reviews, and construction issue resolutions.Participating in site meetings and documenting minutes.ResponsibilitiesSupport external communications and construction management activities.Follow health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.Manage work scheduling, team leadership, and performance management.Build organizational capability through coaching.Ensure operational compliance and quality assurance through testing, inspection, and continuous improvement.Qualifications5-10 years' experience in water/wastewater treatment plant construction.CET, PEO EIT, P.Eng., or equivalent.Valid Class G drivers license.Strong communication, judgment, and initiative.Experience in sewer and water main design is an asset.Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera P6 is an asset.Training in confined space entry and Working at Heights is an asset.Certification as a CISEC is an asset.GHD is committed to diversity and inclusion and provides reasonable accommodations during recruitment.Additional InformationSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob functions: Project Management, Consulting, EngineeringIndustries: Civil Engineering, Industrial Machinery, Environmental ServicesSalary range: CA$90,000 - CA$120,000. #J-18808-Ljbffr
