We are looking for a Senior Payroll & HR Administrator to join our HR Shared Services team. This is a hybrid role (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) where you will take full ownership of our payroll operations while providing essential HR administrative support across the organization. Key Responsibilities Payroll Lead the full bi-weekly payroll cycle for 300+ employees, from maintaining accurate records to closing payroll in Dayforce. Prepare and submit all post-payroll reporting (e.g., WSIB, RRSP, Benefits). Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while maintaining data integrity. Analyze payroll data for discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. Prepare annual payroll reports and analyses for year-end and provincial audits. Act as the subject matter expert for the payroll system, supporting module upgrades and process improvements. Stay current on payroll regulations and legislative requirements across provinces. HR Shared Services Maintain accurate HR and benefits files (new hires, terminations, enrollments). Draft and standardize employee documents (employment contracts, promotion letters, service awards, performance review materials). Handle insurance payments (letters, payment follow-up, payroll adjustments). Track HR metrics and prepare reports. Support rewards and recognition programs (Bucketlist platform) Assist with onboarding and training resources. Manage the annual engagement survey and compile results. Qualifications Degree in Payroll and/or Accounting Administration (or equivalent). Minimum 3 years of payroll experience in Canada (hourly and salaried staff). Knowledge of provincial payroll legislation outside of the home province is an asset. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel required). Experience with Dayforce strongly preferred. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills Bilingual (French and English) preferred. Proven ability for handling confidential information and matters. #J-18808-Ljbffr
