Employment and Housing Manager (3 Positions)August 14, 2025 | CanadaThe Council for Canadas Scaled Settlement Initiative (SSI) is seeking three (3) Employment and Housing Managers (EHM), one in each of the following locations: Edmonton, Toronto, and Northeast Ontario. This managerial position will provide leadership, coordination, and oversight of regional sourcing, matching, and the placement of newly arrived Jamat for jobs and housing.This managerial role focuses on effective sourcing and utilization of housing and jobs. The successful candidate will be responsible for project management, cultivating stakeholder relations, employment partnerships/sourcing, housing coordination, and managing contractual agreements.The successful candidate will work closely with regional leadership and settlement teams to manage all aspects of job and housing placement. Responsibilities include managing intakes, matching, placement, cultivating stakeholder relationships, sourcing employers and landlords, supporting tenancy success, and handling related processes and administrative tasks.The ideal candidate will have experience working with newcomers to Canada in employment and/or housing sectors. They should be strategic, detail-oriented, excel in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and possess creative problem-solving skills.
