Job Description - ABS Investor Reporting Manager (ORG00002M7) Description ABS Investor Reporting Manager Reports to: Sr. Manager ABS Reporting Location: Mississauga, ON - HybridJob Type: Full time, SalariedBand: 92 Position Summary: The ABS Investor Reporting Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of the monthly investor reporting cycle for all Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) transactions. This position involves oversight of a team of reporting analysts responsible for preparing accurate and timely collateral and service reports. The successful incumbent will implement robust reporting and data integrity processes, collaborating with analysts to address compliance-related issues. In addition, the candidate will liaise with the ABS Methods and Executions Team in Stuttgart to facilitate local reporting activities related to structuring and terminating ABS transactions. The ABS Investor Reporting Manager will actively engage in change management efforts and the coordination of system-related activities, ensuring that ABS systems comply with regulations and transaction requirements. This multifaceted position requires strong leadership, meticulous attention to detail, and effective coordination across various teams and processes. The candidate must be able to multitask and effectively deal with time constraints. Position may require ICS compliance activities as applicable. Responsibilities: Manage the monthly investor reporting cycle by supporting a team of reporting analysts who prepare the monthly collateral and service reports for all ABS transactions, ensuring accurate investor reporting and timely distribution of reports to the SEC and trustees. Manage compliance of ABS systems with regulations and transaction requirements. Participate in PI Planning and coordinate with stakeholders such as ITM, Operational Data Store (ODS), Local Landscape Application teams, and the ABS Methods and Executions Team in Stuttgart. Supervise a team of reporting analysts and coordinate with external auditors to complete agreedupon procedures, administering internal bank account administration processes, ensuring the accuracy of deal set up in MercedesBenz systems, and performing initial filing of SEC required Asset Level Data. Responsibilities also encompass ABS deal termination; coordinating with internal and external legal counsel to draft and issue required notices and certificates, confirming of incoming and outgoing wires and clean-up of ABS systems. Lead and manage the annual Reg AB audit. This includes planning discussions with external auditors, coordinating kickoff meetings internally, ensuring a timely completion of the audit, liaising with necessary internal operations groups, reporting audit findings internally, and documenting remediation actions, if necessary. Task includes delegation of certain tasks to direct reports to assist in the management of this audit. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting tasks. Input, review, and fix interest rates and spreads in internal treasury systems. Maintain ABS system configurations. Coordinate with external vendors to obtain and process vehicle residual values used in Lease securitizations. Manage SEC account balances. Collaborate with Financial Reporting and the Office of General Counsel (OGC) to support state reporting and compliance requirements. Administer the quarterly Reg AB management rep letter. Support Financial Reporting processes. Liaise with external auditors. Coordinate with OGC to draft and execute all annual filings for ABS transactions. To gather and prioritize business requirements, oversee system developments and enhancements, design, test, and validate changes to the ABS Suite system and its landscape, and monitor system performance. Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field. Minimum of (5) years of comprehensive experience in accounting, finance or treasury. Funding or previous ABS experience required. Areas of Knowledge: Ability to collect data, establish facts, identify trends and variances. Skilled in U.S. GAAP and IFRS accounting issues specific to the Financial Services industry. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Ability to learn new systems and business processes quickly. Understanding of the organizational structure and processes that affect financial reporting information.
