We are seeking passionate, detail-focused individuals to join our team as an Assistant Miller.The Assistant Miller plays a key role in our milling process, operating the A and B Mill while ensuring product quality and safety. Duties include kiln production, groat and steel cut grading, secondary grading systems, operating colour sorters, record keeping, sanitation, planning, and communication. This position supports safety, quality, efficiency, and company goals.ResponsibilitiesAdjust equipment and conduct product testing to maximize yield and qualityEnsure compliance with Gluten-Free product handling and guidelinesMonitor kiln as a food safety preventative control measureDocument production data in computerized systemsPerform maintenance checks and troubleshoot issuesCollaborate across departments for smooth operationsSupport sanitation and safe working conditionsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent (required)Milling or processing experience an assetMechanical aptitude to operate and maintain equipmentFamiliarity with Gluten-Free compliance preferredStrong communication, organization, and computer skillsAble to work safely in dusty, hot/cold, noisy environments and at heights or confined spacesHours of Work: 12-hour modified shift schedule, including weekends and nights.Compensation and BenefitsQuarterly bonusNight and weekend premiumsCompany-matched RRSPOvertime payComprehensive health and dental benefitsApply by October 14, 2025.
